The Lifelong Learning Foundation was set up in honour of
Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana,

(who sadly passed away on 3rd January 2008) –
she was His Majesty King Bhumipol’s elder sister. Her Royal Highness
has known the Foundation’s founder, Dr. Intira Sriprasidh for many years.
Dr. Intira was her brightest student at the age of seventeen - when the
Princess was the Professor of French Languageand Literature at Thammasat
University. The Princess continued to keep in touch with Dr. Intira for many
years after Dr. Intira left Thailand to further her studies overseas. In 1972,
Princess Galyani and Prince Varanonthawat, hosted the wedding between
Dr. Intira and Dr. Laurence in Thailand.
Many years later ... Dr. Intira and Dr. Laurence founded the Lifelong Learning Foundation
following in the footsteps ... of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani’s charitable works.
The Foundation is focused on two core subjects:

Environmental Education

Information Communications Technology (ICT)
